scoop@[edit]

@Pi zero: I've just sent photos of my scribbles and two pages of the printed con book, to scoop@wikinewsie.org. Separately I sent the audio from the first part of the panel I quote, but I don't think it's worth listening to it, since I avoid doing long quotes.

Note, that they attribute the Chuck Jones quote to Don Bluth. Bluth was paraphrasing Jones, Jones said it first. If there's any issue with the reattribution, I'll gladly nix the sentence entirely. -- Zanimum (talk) 22:11, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I've also requested an actual quote from the maker who created the "eyes", asking inspiration or that sort of thing. We'll see if he replies promptly. -- Zanimum (talk) 22:13, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I should note that the con book introductory letter is evidence of the enlarged dealer room. Zanimum (talk) 23:29, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

country in the first paragraph[edit]

Zanimum I think adding the word 'Canada' to the first paragraph would be a bit helpful, I'm just not doing it myself now to prevent edit conflicts Gryllida (talk) 22:40, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Toronto" strikes me as a famous city, like Shanghai or London, but I do not have an English-as-a-subsequent perspective. Darkfrog24 (talk) 23:22, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Good thought, I've added it. -- Zanimum (talk) 23:25, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unedited quote[edit]

Hello Nick!

My business is all about pushing the boundaries of fursuit technology, and providing affordable options for that tech for the entire community to enjoy and benefit from. Something new I am currently working on a way to install a camera inside suit heads to improve fursuiter visibility, which will hopefully also prevent some suiting accidents and risks. It also removes the necessity for the standard fursuit eye holes, which will hopefully give makers more options for building different eyestyles.

I hope that is what you are looking for!

I met you on Saturday, while I was walking around with two cats, one of whom posed with your faceshell to her muzzle.

Did I identify myself as being accredited media at the convention? My apologies if I didn't.

I took a photo of your working example, for my article on Wikinews. The article is not live, but is viewable here:

I was wondering if you could comment further on the technology, perhaps give me a sentence or two to use as a quote? Perhaps how you programmed the eyes, what gave you the idea, that sort of thing.

Thanks, Nick Zanimum (talk) 01:58, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
