Visa now compulsory for Qataris to enter Egypt, foreign ministry says

The Egyptian foreign ministry on Monday announced citizens of Qatar can no longer travel to Egypt without visa, ending the visa-free travels to the country for Qataris, on the occasion of a meeting of Egyp]ian foreign minister Sameh Shoukry with Kuwaiti foreign minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah.

Liu Xiaobo, a Chinese , human rights activist, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate died in a hospital in China at the age of 61. He was on medical parole after he was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer while in prison for his active criticism of the Chinese government.
