Boobs
It seems yet agian our concerns are ignored. Tags were removed when they were placed WITH merit. Personally, I do not want to be part of wikinews if we are going to look like amyspace blog. DragonFire1024 19:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- And I readded the tag and noted that nothing was resolved in the article dispite the addition of cleanup. DragonFire1024 20:14, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Personally, I liked the "putting a link to the images on commons" idea but it was reverted. —FellowWikiNews (W) (sign here!) 17:59, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Archives/Guidelines
Your archive and guideline sections at the top of this page are broken. I suspect this is related to the breaking of the dynamic boxes on the front page. --Brian McNeil / talk 17:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

wikinews ads
Great job with the advertisements. However from a format point of view they're better as png's as jpeg compression results in bad quality for anything that's not a photo. Bawolff ☺☻ 22:27, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. Do you want me to re-upload them as png? —FellowWikiNews (W) (sign here!) 02:09, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

where'd u get the "Thousand of inmates have escaped" bit? i removed it as it appears to be unsourced or incorrect. –Doldrums(talk) 20:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thousands of inmates do live at the New Castle Correctional Facility so I thought I would add it to the lead. —FellowWikiNewsie 20:43, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- CNN says 1600, so less than 2000 and therefore not thousands. also, i see no reports that they've "escaped". from what i can make out, they're all still in the prison, a danger only to themselves and whoever goes in there. we need to be careful about stuff like this. u can imagine the reaction of someone in the area who's told that thousands of prisoners have escaped from the prison and later finds out, that that's not quite the case. –Doldrums(talk) 20:48, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi FellowWikiNews,
I've noticed that you don't have a lot of time, but still, I'd like you to have a look at the page and share your thoughts. I've added your name as a participant since you previously showed interest in the project, remove it if I've been too bold there. Thus far, my contributions have been limited to technical/styling issues, such as links and use of templates. If you can point out some of the NPOV criticism, I would be more than happy to take a look at them. --SVTCobra 00:15, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I asked you because I thought you could help me with the NPOV issue in the first sentence (which I thought were obvious), and I see that you edited it. It looks much better. —FellowWikiNewsie 00:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have softened some of the words in the article. I have also added my own criticism to the talk page. However, it seems factually correct (relying on the sources of course). --SVTCobra 00:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well you didn't really think that you could notify me of this without me giving it at least a once-over, did you? --SVTCobra 00:59, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- The words "has flared up yet again" sounded a little editorial sounding, imo, but you addressed the issue and it looks much better now. I guess I should have clarified what I meant in my request but it is over now and I think it is best to keep it at that. Thanks. —FellowWikiNewsie 02:00, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Note
Hey FellowWikiNews. When deleting templates [5], even when they have been passed through WN:DR. you must check to see if it is use, expressly in articles. The deletion left several articles having a red notemplate markup in the middle of the text. cheers Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 04:56, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

As I've noted, this article needs expanding, but could I ask you clarify why it cannot be published on the basis of its length? Adambro 14:29, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- It is one sentence long and yhere is no information on the event. Journalists write news stories to inform people. One sentence is not journalism. I'm sure not many readers will benefit from a report that is one sentence long. —FellowWiki Newsie 14:32, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

- Yes, you have a point but I was worried that it would stay as a stub. Anyways, when I publish breaking news articles I never wait for other people to add information, I do it myself. —FellowWiki Newsie 14:54, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

You might wish to consider uploading images available under a free licence like you recent photographs to Commons instead. Doing so means they can be better organised and used on other Wikimedia projects. Apologies if there is a particular reason why you haven't done this. Regards. Adambro 15:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- I uploaded them here because I cannot login to my current account on Commons. I only uploaded them for my article and I do not want them for use on other projects. But thanks for your interest. —FellowWiki Newsie 15:42, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
