Review of revision 4690611 [Not ready][edit]

  • The style has not remotely been rectified. What I will try to do, is simply edit it to more closely fit with our style here. There is, admittedly, a bit of a learning curve here, but we are glad to have you.--Bddpaux (talk) 00:05, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Did a few bits of cleanup. I am now FAR out of reviewer territory, so someone else will have to take over. If for nothing other than entertainment, check out his submission over a WikiBooks: it is entertaining. By American standards, it is a wee bit odd, but I am far from Anti-Bohemian! Travelling on the cheap is an art unto itself! ...and many people who've done it have some cool stories! Anyway: I think this article has potential, but still needs to some hard work on it to meet up with journalistic standards.--Bddpaux (talk) 00:26, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements made[edit]

@Bddpaux:, @SVTCobra: substantial edits for clarity, coherence and independence have been made by a native English speaker (myself) to warrant a subsequent, independent review. JJLiu112 (talk) 19:57, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"In English and Russian"[edit]

I gave the article a quick once-over for copyediting purposes, and I can't tell whether the "in English and Russian" bit means "the book was published in English and Russian" or "the speech was given in English and Russian." Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:24, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Darkfrog24: I don’t know to whom your question was addressed (to me — the author, or the last editor of the text, in whose interpretation it is currently), but I will answer the question. "The book was published in English and Russian" and "the speech was given in English and Russian", but the first statement is more important. I don’t make changes to the text, since it has been corrected by a native English speaker. — Виктор Пинчук (talk) 19:07, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's on the article talk page, so it's addressed to anyone working on the article who knows the answer and wants to take action. Darkfrog24 (talk) 19:42, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

The article a month later, Russian photographer Viktor Pinchuk presents textbook in Simferopol, Crimea, about Viktor's photography textbook is in the Ukraine category as well as the Russia category; this one is only in the Russia category. Should it be in both the Russia and the Ukraine category? I am well aware of the sensitive nature of what I am saying and that's why I'm loath to just make the change. Ellenor2000 (talk) 15:27, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, thank you. JJLiu112 (talk) 17:21, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ellenor2000: Yeah, that was Viktor; the December article was also only in Category:Russia before I added Category:Ukraine then. Heavy Water (talk) 17:38, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
