Does correction involve a correction
[edit]Hi. Does issuing a correction involve fixing the issue? Example: article says "Gryllida found a dog". Correction says: "It was a cat, not a dog". When adding this correction do I need to replace the "dog" with "cat" in the article text, or leave the article text intact? Thanks. Gryllida (talk) 22:41, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- Generally people leave it intact. I know of only one active Wikinewsie who does otherwise. Heavy Water (talk) 00:16, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]- In the spirit of US Thanksgiving tradition, two turkeys receive presidential pardon
- Two injured in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
- Turkey found buried alive in an Austin, Texas yard
- 18-year-old charged for Thanksgiving lesbian assault (heads up that this has a pretty graphic image)
- US 'Black Friday' shoppers gather hours, even days before some stores' openings
- Mr. Miyagi passes away, Thanksgiving Day
- Chemical plant fire decimates Danvers, Massachusetts neighboorhood (a little tenuous)
- British turkey tycoon Bernard Matthews dies aged 80 (a little tenuous)
There could be more of course, but this is what I found immediately. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 12:48, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
